SUSIE ARBUTHNOTT B.A.

Susie Arbuthnott, B.A. Fine Art and Printmaking, 1996, is a Herefordshire artist, drawing much of her inspiration from the local landscape of Herefordshire and adjoining counties, and from holidays abroad.

She studied at Kidderminster and Wolverhampton as a mature student and works in water colour, pastel and oil, in a free and expressive style. She also paints still life, exploring both the tonal and spatial relationships between objects.

She has exhibited in London, (The Gallery, Shepherd's Market, March 2005, and September 2008.) Herefordshire, ('Art at Newport' May 2004, 'Palace Art Exhibition', Hereford, August 2006 and 2007), Shropshire ('Memories' Exhibition, September 2005), 'Art in a Barn' for Hereford Art Week, (September, 2006), and at the Silk Top Hat Gallery, Ludlow, (Christmas Exhibitions, (2005 and 2006), and the annual Presteigne Art Show, (May 2007 and 2008).
